Yard Goat Driver

CloudPersonnel is seeking a dependable and skilled Yard Goat Driver to join a busy logistics and distribution operation in Colton, CA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering a yard truck (yard goat/spotter truck) to move trailers throughout the facility yard, supporting the overall flow of shipping and receiving operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking for steady work and competitive pay at $23 per hour.

– Operate a yard goat/spotter truck to position and move trailers to and from dock doors, staging areas, and designated parking locations
– Ensure the safe and efficient movement of trailers throughout the yard at all times
– Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate trailer placement and prioritize dock assignments
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the yard truck and report any mechanical issues promptly
– Assist with sit-down forklift operation as needed to support warehouse activities
– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment in accordance with company standards

– Valid Driver’s License required
– Minimum of 1 year of verifiable yard goat or spotter truck driving experience
– Sit-down forklift experience preferred and considered a strong asset
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift
– Strong attention to safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a hazard-free workplace
