This position plays a vital role in ensuring that freshly made tortilla products are properly packaged and prepared for distribution. As a Tortilla Packer in Maywood, CA, you will work in a structured, team-oriented environment where consistency, food safety, and attention to quality are top priorities.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

– Inspecting and packing tortilla products according to company quality standards
– Monitoring packaging lines to ensure accurate counts and proper sealing of finished goods
– Maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift
– Following all food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols at all times
– Reporting any product defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to a supervisor promptly
– Assisting with other production floor tasks as directed by management

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

– Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour shift
– Non-slip, closed-toe shoes are required; hair nets must be worn at all times on the production floor
– No long nails, artificial nails, or jewelry of any kind may be worn during work hours
– Prior experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required
– Must be available Monday through Friday, with willingness to work weekend overtime as needed
